All packages must be signed for. Duties, tariffs / taxes, fees, and all other import or landing charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Return Policy
Our handmade items cannot be returned; any item altered or sized for you cannot be returned.

All estate items can be returned (in original, saleable condition) for a refund less actual shipping fees and any costs incurred during shipment. Customs charges, taxes, duties, tariffs, landing fees, and all other import charges, are not refundable by us as these do not pass through our hands but are handled by us but by your government's import offices. Items must be post-marked for return within 4 days of receipt. Items purchased on layaway plans cannot be returned. Damaged, sized, or altered items cannot be returned.

If you do need to return an item, please let us know first so we can arrange to receive the package. Then, simply return your items as you received them: unaltered and in their original packaging. Please ship via a fully tracked and insured method, as we are not liable for damage incurred during return shipping.

Handmade Items Will Vary
Our handmade items will vary minutely. In order to ensure the best possible look, each item must be carefully polished and finished. This results in some variable weight and size loss. Please allow up to .3mm variation for heavy/wide rings, and .2mm variation for thinner rings. If you require a ring to be exactly the width/height ordered, we will need to CAD design and cast the ring at .3mm larger than required, and hand finish to the exact dimension; this is a more expensive process, so please message us for a quote.

All of Hoard Jewelry’s pieces are dated by taking into consideration a number of factors: materials, style, hallmarks, construction, condition and wear, and, where relevant, its found context or documented history. Each piece is dated to the best of our ability given our resources and experience. Many gemstones are mounted in a way that precludes exact stone grading impossible. We evaluate estate gemstones and diamonds in their mountings using industry-standard measurements and formulas. Unless graded by a third-party appraiser, stone gradings are done by Rebecca Cooner, a GIA-certified diamond grader. Mounted gemstones are graded only insofar as mounting permits observation; consequently, jewelry descriptions and all carat weights stated represent approximates. Colored gemstones are frequently treated to enhance their appearance; most treatments are completely stable and, but some may not be permanent and/or may necessitate special care. Please contact us for further information. We cannot guarantee that the color you see in the listing matches the item’s true color, as the display of color will vary depending on the settings of the monitor used to view the listing images.
