Victorian French 2.2 Carat Sapphire and Diamond Halo Engagement Ring

$ 3,250.00
- Victorian Sapphire and Diamond Halo Ring
- c. 1890-1900
- 14k rose gold, 1.4 carats sapphire, .80 carats diamonds; total gem weight 2.2 carats
- Made in France

A classically Victorian take on the ever-popular princess-style halo ring, this romantic ring features a central marquise-cut sapphire of lovely blue color, surrounded by a lush halo of old mine-cut diamonds. The charmingly worked gallery features unusual prongs in a crown- or W-like pattern, making this one especially lovely for someone with a W initial.

The elongated shape lends a feminine, graceful quality to beautifully balance the high-impact glamor of the 2.2 carats of gem weight. A beautiful find.

French hallmarks.
